Wright Brothers Monument - Kill Devil Hills, NC
The famous Wright Brothers monument located in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina was having problems with an aging cast iron roof drain that over the many years had started to deteriorate and leak into the monument.  The vertical pipeline leaking into the monument had potential not only to stain the beautiful exterior of the monument but also introduce mold within the monument.  Potential solutions were to allow the small rooftop to drain down the side of the monument or re-route the pipeline to the outside of the monument all together.  To fix the problem with either method could and would alter the exterior of an historic monument.  Precision Pipe Solutions had an alternative method to rehabilitate the aging pipe without disrupting the monument.  We were able to crane our equipment 90 feet in the air and invert a liner material saturated with 100% solids epoxy resin throughout the existing pipeline.  The new liner sealed all of the cracks and joints in the existing pipeline creating a watertight pipeline.  We were able to fix the problem in an afternoon allowing the monument to open on time.  In recognition of our work we were awarded the First Flight Foundation High Flyer Recognition.

Marriott Hotel
The Airport Marriott Hotel and Banquet Center was having problems with some of the aging pipelines.  Being pro-active the Marriott maintenance supervisor was looking for solution without all of the disruption of traditional dig and replace for the aging cast iron pipelines.  After doing some research and meeting with Precision Pipe Solutions he was sure that lining was the solution to his problem.  We were able to perform all of the work over several days keeping the disruption so minimal that the kitchen never had to close.
